My name is Paula Walton. I design and make teddy bears, Father Christmas figures, painted cloth dolls, rag dolls, papier-mache' figures and other traditional folk art. Since 1986, I have been marketing items under the business name, A Sweet Remembrance. My works are offered for sale by mail, at my studio by appointment (I do not have a retail store), at a limited number of exclusive craft shows and in selected shops throughout the US.

My designs have been in these publications: Teddy Bear Review, Teddy Bear Source Book, Cross Stitch and Country Crafts, Santa Claus, Holiday Crafts, Crafting Traditions, Christmas from the Heart, Christmas All Through the House, Scrap Crafts from A to Z, Holiday Cooking, Early American Life and The Williams Catalogue of American Master Craftsmen.

I am extremely proud to have been chosen by Early American Life as one of the top traditional craftsman in America in 1996, 1997, 1998, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009; many years in more than one category.
